Yael Kortsarz is a NYS K-12 certified music teacher and disability advocate. Yael started her journey as a performer focusing on choral music and musical theatre. Quickly, the desire to create musical performances moved from on stage to back stage and music teaching. Yael began her career working at Syracuse Children’s Theatre, music directing students aged 3 through 17. Following this, Yael worked at Camp Ballibay for the Fine and Performing Arts as the Head of Music and Operations Coordinator. Additionally, music directing and creating musical style performances with neuro-divergent campers.
