Competition Asst. Director & Instructor / Choreographer

Sara LaPadula is a contemporary/modern dancer and teacher based in New York, New York. She began dancing at the age of 3 in Westchester County, New York before attending the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2021, receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a Minor in Education. Sara has performed works by renowned choreographers including Camille A. Brown, Uri Sands, and performed in a soloist role in Jose Limón’s A Choreographic Offering. Following college, Sara was immersed in the Limón Dance Company’s Professional Training Program as a trainee with their company. The following year, she became a member of their second company, performing works by José Limón, Ashley Lindsey, and Devin Richey across New York City. Most notably, Sara has performed with the Limón Company at City College in May of 2023, as well as at their 2022 and 2023 gala performances. Since graduating, Sara has had the honor to become a dance teacher across Westchester and Dutchess County for children ages 2-18, specializing in contemporary, modern, ballet, and choreography.
